ABOUT THE LOUIS THOROLD FOUNDATION
We Will Always be Together
The Louis Thorold Foundation is setup in loving memory of Louis Thorold who died on 22nd January 2021 at just 5 months old whilst his mother Rachael pushed his pram along a pavement in Cambridge.
The road where he died is notorious for deaths and dangerous accidents and those charged with maintaining the road and making it safe have done little to protect the lives of the children we love and cherish.
Each year in Britain 40 children are killed as pedestrians on Britain's roads a number which we believe is too many, sadly Louis is another tragic statistic.
Preventing Deaths of Young Children on Britain’s Roads
Through the promotion and advancement of road safety, associated emergency response, care and rehabilitative treatment through the funding of research
We are a registered charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) and registered by the UK Charities Commission
We will never forget Louis, he is our inspiration, his joyful smile and happy outlook will never leave us, his spirit implicit in everything we do
NEVER GIVE UP
We never stop believing and don't give up in the face to challenge and adversity. Our journey is hard, but worth it we will never give up and will not give in
We are proud of Louis and we will always be proud of what we do. That means acting with the highest levels of integrity and standards that Louis would be proud of.
